  • 1)For preparing diabetic idly, immerse the grains in water for about 3 hours and make a coarse batter adding chillies, salt and asafoetida.
  • 2)Ferment for about 3-4 hours, add curry leaves and make idly¦s.
  • 3)Diabetic idly¦s are ready.
  • Note: 1)Keep the remaining batter in the refrigerator after 3-4 hours to avoid more fermentation.
